Chairman, President, and CEO
Firoz Lalji is chairman, president, CEO, and co-founder of Zones, Inc. Throughout the company’s 30-year history, Lalji has provided the vision and leadership necessary to transform Zones into a global solutions provider and award-winning business enterprise. In addition to Zones, Lalji owns the Fana Group of Companies, an investment holding company operating in the United States and Canada. Prior to his tenure at Zones, Lalji was the founder, president and CEO of Kits Cameras, Inc., which he built into a chain of 225 stores across the U.S. and Canada. He sold Kits Cameras in 1997, and joined Zones as CEO in 1998. Lalji was born in Uganda and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (Economics) from the London School of Economics in 1969. He attended Harvard Business School from 1991 to 1993. He serves on multiple advisory boards, including the Board of Directors of US Bank of Washington, the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, the London School of Economics, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Firoz is also founder and chairman of the Program for African Leadership (PFAL) Foundation www.pfalfoundation.org, which grants scholarships to African students. Additionally, He runs the Program for African Leadership at the London School of Economics.
Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer
Dominic Camden was named senior vice president and chief sales officer at Zones in 2017. Overseeing all sales channels including corporate sales, healthcare, and public sector, Camden plays a strategic role focused on building and shaping the Zones sales organization to meet in the increasing need for IT solutions. His background is deeply rooted in the development of highly productive sales organizations. Most recently, Camden served as the senior vice president of Enterprise Sales at Zones. In this role, he spearheaded investments in infrastructure and people, securing multiple Fortune 500 customers. Prior to joining Zones, Camden was senior vice president of Sales at CPCS, an IT solution provider acquired by Zones in 2003. Before CPCS, Camden was senior director of Sales at VisionTek, and held sales and management roles at GE Capital IT Solutions and IBM. Camden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Specialty from Marquette University.
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Derrek Hallock was named senior vice president and chief operating officer at Zones in 2017. In this role, Hallock leads the company’s Partner and Product Management (PPM), Marketing, Operations, and Purchasing, along with Logistics and Integration divisions, with a focus on driving value and supply chain efficiency. He joined Zones as senior vice president of PPM in 2013, and set the direction for the PPM organization, developing effective go-to-market strategies with Zones valued partners. He continues to work in collaboration with the Zones sales organization to ensure alignment on growth initiatives and a best-in-class customer experience. Additionally, Hallock oversees the Zones marketing organization, setting the brand strategy, and driving awareness for Zones as a global IT solutions provider.
Hallock joined Zones from SED International, where he was senior vice president of U.S. Domestic Operations. Prior, he had a seven-year tenure at Tech Data, where he served in numerous leadership roles including vice president of SMB Sales, general manager of their Costa Rica Operations Center, and vice president of TDAgency, the in-house marketing and advertising agency. Earlier in his career, Hallock held a series of leadership positions at CompuCom Systems.
Hallock graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management and went on to earn his Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
P. Sean Hobday
Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Operations
Sean Hobday was named senior vice president in January 2012 to lead the company’s global expansion efforts and develop new business opportunities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, India and Canada. Hobday has held multiple leadership positions at Zones, including director of client development, vice president of enterprise sales and president of Zones Corporate Solutions. Prior to his time at Zones, Hobday served as managing director of Blue Ice Leisure in Sydney, Australia, an Austral-Asian division of First Team Sports.
Senior Vice President, Advanced Solutions Group
Asif Hudani joined Zones in 2009 with more than 25 years of experience in the technology services industry. Prior to joining Zones, Hudani was executive vice president with SIGMAnet, a VAR based in Southern California. From 1993 through 1999, he was president of NovaQuest InfoSystems, a West Coast-based VAR with more than $250 million in revenues. When the company merged with Sarcom in 1999, forming a national company with more than 2,400 employees and more than $1 billion in revenue, Hudani assumed the role of executive vice president. From 1988 to 1993, Hudani was a partner in a ComputerLand franchise; the company grew to be the largest franchisee in the U.S. by 1991. Hudani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Southern California.
Senior Vice President, Operations & Chief Information Officer
Anwar Jiwani joined Zones in April 1999 after 23 years of IT leadership with the Royal Bank of Canada. Jiwani led an IT architectural turnaround, resulting in more than 50 percent savings in Zones voice telecomm costs, consolidating numerous IT services supplier contracts, and putting into place IT tools that are designed to support the service, ecommerce, and communication needs of the company. Jiwani has had extensive experience in adapting IT integrations that specifically support business strategies. He attended Simon Fraser University.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ronald McFadden has been part of the Zones senior team since 1998, leading corporate finance and administration divisions. He brings more than 20 years of financial and business management and oversight experience from high-growth, high-volume retailing, and manufacturing organizations to the company, and was an audit manager with Ernst & Young. McFadden earned an MBA from the University of Washington and an undergraduate accounting degree from the University of Southern California. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
