Position Overview:

 

The Vice President, Digital Workplace Practice is a strategic leadership role responsible for the Digital Workplace Practice at Zones. The Practice focuses on Products and Services encompassing End User Computing devices, Mobility, MDM, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Unified Communication and Collaboration and Digital Signage. As a leader of this practice you will own the Performance P&L and therefore own the financial performance and success of the practice company wide.  To do so, you will be responsible for all actions necessary to create, execute and monitor the strategy that will drive Zones company-wide product and services growth in the Digital Workplace Practice area by working collaboratively with all relevant functions within Zones as well as with the partner community

 

What you’ll do as the Vice President, Digital Workplace Practice:

  • Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market strategy to grow the practice based on inputs from OEMs, internal stakeholders, analysts and environment scans
  • Product: Work with the Product and Partner Management team as well as OEMs to help create and execute a segment focused Product Strategy. Decide on which new partners, technologies and product offerings to bet on for each segment
  • Services: Drive the creation and launch of new services and solutions (product + service) as well as ongoing refinement / upgrades of existing services in collaboration with the PPM-Services and Delivery Teams
  • Sales/Pre-Sales: Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure that they are enabled and are executing on the Go To Market strategy.
  • Marketing: Work with the Marketing team to help define marketing, branding, promotions, events for enabling Practice growth
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Build capabilities in the Zones Innovation Center to showcase the relevant technologies for demos, proof of concepts, serve as a lab for customers as well as Zones

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • 15+ years of experience in the Practice area at a Major OEM / Solutions and Services provider with a proven track record in the Digital Workplace space
  • Focused on taking products, solutions and services from concept to launch and subsequently explosive growth
  • Industry technical certifications
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Workplace best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and resources.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align Digital Workplace initiatives with business objectives.
  • Experience of being in a CTO / CIO role would be a plus
